Andrew grimaced but still pulled out his phone to call.
The phone was picked up almost immediately.
Andrew switched on the speakerphone. Within seconds, Shirleys voice, both aggrieved and flirtatious, filled the air.
Ive been burned for nearly a week. You havent called once. I thought you were mad at me and that youd never speak to me again.

Hearing Andrews words, Shirley suddenly erupted into laughter.

I glanced at Andrew, hinting for him to ask about Abby right away.
Seeing my worried face, Andrew didnt hesitate. He shouted into the phone at Shirley, Enough! Wheres Abby? Bring her back to my place now!
No way! Shirley snapped back instantly.
Caleb and I looked even more worried than before.
I was really worried that something bad might happen to Abby while she was with Shirley. Id seen how mean Shirley could be, but Abby was just a kid
